Cloud Operations Center Engineer

• Our client a Security, Intelligence, and Forensics consulting company is seeking a CLOC Engineer with enterprise data center, co-location, and cloud services experience to join their team.

   

  This company regularly consults with Federal clients and therefore the ability to obtain a Security Clearance is a must.

   

  This company has several data centers throughout the D.M.V (DC, Maryland & Baltimore) area.

   

  This role will require experience with RedHat open stack as well as the following skillsets: 

   

  Configuration and installation of various network devices and services (e.g. routers, switches, firewall, load balancers, VPN, QoS).

   

  Hands-on network engineering experience with networking technologies, monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g. Palo Alto, Cisco, Checkpoint, SolarWinds, etc.).

   

  Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Clustering and Hyper-V

   

  Thorough understanding of networking protocols (e.g. IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, QoS).

   

  Solid understanding of OSI and TCP/IP model.

   

  Experience supporting enterprise application/web server technologies (e.g. Jboss, WildFly, Tomcat, Apache, etc.).

   

  Experience with SAN technologies and public cloud services (AWS, Azure) is an asset.

   

  (Preferred) Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Communication or Information Technology
