Candidate Success Story: Jeff

Challenge:

With over 4 years of dedicated employment with his current firm, Jeff was informed that his position would be included in a reduction in force, and he was advised to begin searching for other employment. With a home mortgage, wife and 3 children to provide for, Jeff knew that had to take immediate action. He reached out to a Recruiter at LTS and together, they assembled a job search action plan.

Solution:

A new opportunity opened up one day that appeared to be a perfect match for Jeff’s skill set. The only problem was that the position was based in St. Louis, MO and Jeff lived in San Francisco, CA. Since Jeff had previously mentioned that he was open to relocation, the LTS Recruiter called Jeff and provided him with the details about the job. Jeff was interested, so the Recruiter presented Jeff’s resume and qualifications to the firm. The firm was interested in Jeff’s experience, flew him out to St. Louis, and presented him with an offer of employment.

Outcome:

Jeff moved his family 2,058 miles from San Francisco, CA to St. Louis, MO. They discovered that they could buy a bigger home for their growing family in St. Louis, and were immediately welcomed into the community. 3 years later, Jeff’s children have made new friends, are excelling in school, and Jeff has been promoted within his department.
