Candidate Success Story: Kevin

Challenge:

Kevin is a young, single guy with high ambitions for career advancement with the eDiscovery industry. The only problem is that Kevin felt he could not advance within his current company, so he connected with an LTS Recruiter to discuss what other opportunities may be available to him. Kevin tells the Recruiter that he is open to relocating, but is particularly attracted to the West Coast.

Solution:

One day, a new position opens up with a company in Seattle. The hiring manager is looking for someone with Kevin’s certifications and technical experience. The Recruiter tells Kevin about the position, and he is instantly interested. The Recruiter submits Kevin’s resume to the hiring manager, and there is immediate interest. The hiring manager and Kevin have a telephone interview, and then the company flies Kevin to Seattle for an in-person interview, where an offer of employment is presented.

Outcome:

1 month after the initial telephone interview, Kevin has made a cross-country trek traveling nearly 3,000 miles from Philadelphia, PA to Seattle, WA. He is settling into his new position, making new friends, and feeling challenged. He is already learning new technology tools, and his employer is paying for his continuing education technology certification.
